Course Description: This class is intended to provide a basic understanding of Financial Literacy. Each student is expected to learn and develop effective financial literacy skills taught throughout the nine week learning module. At the completion of the course students will have a better understanding the following topics: 1. Financial Literacy 101 2. Compounding Interest 3. Credit Management 4. Money & Currency 5. Stocks & Bonds 6. Annuities & Mutual Funds 7. Investment Markets 8. Retirement Accounts 9. Insurance Products Grades: Shall consist of Class Participation 25%, Homework 25%, Class Work 25%, and Projects 25%. Make up work: IT IS THE STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPLETE ANY AND ALL MISSED ASSIGNMENTS. Classroom Expectations: 1. RESPECT your teachers and classmates at all times 2.
